Devon Coyote held down the opening slot for the two nights of this year’s Dream Festival in Penticton. It taught them a valuable lesson in pacing and keeping the music going. A straight out rock three piece based in Kelowna. They are hard working, appearing somewhere in BC and Ontario almost every night through the summer. Fortunately they like each other, it takes a lot of commitment to drive around in an old van and stay in crummy motels night after night in the service of music. Vocalist and guitarist Devon Bjarnason toured extensively on his own before putting the band the bank together with OK Falls native Rod Anderson on drums and percussion, and multi instrumentalist D’Arcy Booth on bass. This CD is the band’s second full-length release with ten tracks attributed to the entire band and a cover of Neil Young’s Cortez The Killer.
